Unique gift for a history lover... This beautiful pen was made from Poplar from the Manning-Goddard house in Huntsville, AL.  The house was built in 1835.  During the CIvil War, it was used by Union forces.  The Army took over the house in 1941 as a VIP quarters.  Guests would typically only stay one night as the house was believed to be haunted.
